PHENOTYPE
PHENOTYPE
Create monster plants using classical genetics.
Maintain your collection of specimens to fill incoming orders. Which plants should be kept for the next generation? Which traits have unexpected combinations?
ABOUT
Fill Orders to unlock new plant species (currently 3 species) as well as more challenging Orders. How many turns does it take to reach Level 4 mastery for all plants?
TIPS
While the game involves a fair bit of luck, it also involves skill in manipulating the genetics to solve orders. It follows principles of simple dominance (e.g. green dominant over white), co-dominance (e.g. green and silver both display), and incomplete dominance (e.g. red and white result in pink). For refreshers on the topic:
Some phenotypes are based on recessive genes, and will be less likely to appear on their own. If you find yourself repeatedly using the Selector to keep adding single individuals into the pool, consider breeding more plants in your plot, because it's likely that some of them are hiding those genes you need.

This game is dedicated to my AP Biology teacher. All these years later and I still remember how to solve a Punnett square.

I really like this one, it definitely got me thinking about genetic mutations as a game mechanic and the way you pieced together the art is excellent. Great job!
I had a fun time chasing rare phenotypes
